The victim, identified as Mohammed Abdul Samad, was involved in an argument with his co-worker, Mohammed Turabuddin (also known as Babban), around 9:00 PM on Thursday. The altercation, which reportedly stemmed from an operational issue at their workplace, quickly escalated into physical violence. Police stated that Turabuddin allegedly struck Samad on the head and face using an iron rod, inflicting severe injuries.
Samad was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for emergency care, where medical personnel declared him dead on arrival. Following the incident, the victim's father, Mohammed Shakir, lodged a formal complaint. Police have registered a case of murder and launched a full-scale investigation into the attack. "Investigators are examining CCTV footage from the location and surrounding areas to reconstruct the precise sequence of events," police officials familiar with the investigation said.
