Chennai, December 25: A woman glued a man's eyes and killing him by slitting his throat after he threatened to make public pictures of her rape. The man, identified as Sekar of Thiruvottiyur, had sexually assaulted the woman and threatened to leak her intimate pictures, police found. Sekar's body was found on Cross Road in Washermenpet on Monday. According to the woman's statement before the police, she and Sekar's daughter would study in the same college. She used to frequently visit their house and during one of her visits, Sekar raped her. The woman said that he continued to exploit her. The woman decided to kill Sekar when he started forcing her to call off her planned marriage. According to her statement, Sekar was furious when he came to know that she was going to get married. "He began asking the woman and her parents to call off the marriage, saying he would post pictures of them together online," a cop was quoted as saying. Sekar also threatened that he would send pictures of her sexual assault to her relatives.

Fed up with torture, the woman decided to kill Sekar. She invited him saying she wanted to give him a present. They spent some time at Elliot's beach and returned to Washermenpet where they would meet usually. According to the police, she told Sekar to close his eyes as she would give him the gift. When he shut his eyes, she applied a strong glue to the eyes. She then stabbed him, slit her throat and fled.

Police were informed about Sekar's body on Monday night. During the initial probe, cops found out that he was last seen with the woman. She was detained and interrogated. She then narrated the entire episode.
