The decision to form a panel on the related subject was done after it was raised by AIADMK’s Vijila Sathyanath in Rajya Sabha on November 28. Earlier on December 17, Bihar CM had written to the Narendra Modi government, "It will be my request to take appropriate action to ban all porn sites and inappropriate content available on internet immediately after giving due consideration to the serious issue."
