Delhi: Class 10 Girl Allegedly Attacked by 3 Boys in Rohini After Resisting Molestation Attempt

A Class X student and two members of her family, including her 80-year-old grandmother, were injured after three youth allegedly assaulted them in North West Delhi’s Rohini area. The attack occurred when the minor girl resisted an attempt by the suspects to molest her. According to preliminary details provided by the Delhi Police, the incident took place in the victim's neighborhood. Three local youths allegedly targeted the teenage girl while she was near her residence. When she strongly resisted their advances, the suspects turned violent. Hearing the commotion, the victim's 45-year-old mother and her 80-year-old grandmother stepped in to intervene and protect her. The suspects then assaulted both older women alongside the minor before fleeing the scene. All three injured family members were immediately shifted to Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital in Rohini for medical attention. Hospital officials confirmed that they received necessary treatment for their injuries and were subsequently discharged. The Delhi Police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) in connection with the case based on statements given by the victims. Investigators are working to identify and apprehend the suspects, and further inquiry into the matter is underway.
