New Delhi, January 21: Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal received a call at his residence from an unidentified person saying that he is residing in Delhi's Vikas Puri and will attack him, said Personal Security Officer of CM to Delhi Police on Monday. Meanwhile, no details of the caller could be recovered as there is no caller ID installed, said Delhi police. Arvind Kejriwal's Office Receives Anonymous Mail With Threat to Kidnap His Daughter Harshita.

Speaking to ANI, Delhi Police said, "Personal Security Officer (PSO) of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal informed police that a call was received from an unknown number saying that he is residing in Vikas Puri and can attack Delhi CM. This is no the first instance that someone has threatened Kejriwal. Earlier on January 9, Delhi CM's office received an e-mail threatening to kidnap and harm CM's daughter, Harshita Kejriwal. The anonymous person in the mail wrote, "We will kidnap your daughter. Do what you can to protect her." when Kejriwal lodged a formal complaint an investigation was lodged and a man from Bihar was arrested for allegedly sending the mail. "The accused, identified as Vikas, was arrested by a team of the Special Cell from Bihar's Motihari. The Cyber Cell team had tracked his IP address," said police officer to IANS. The accused is in police custody and police is interrogating him to know his modus operandi.
