Suicide Note Points To Emotional Distress

Investigators said the note suggested Dr. Anand had been under emotional distress, and that it referenced a relationship with a female colleague from Madhya Pradesh, with opposition from both families over caste differences said to have caused him significant anguish. Authorities are examining the contents of the note as part of the ongoing investigation.
