New Delhi, August 9: A major fire broke out in a room on the third floor at Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan (LNJP) Hospital in the national capital on Friday. According to initial reports, the fire took place due to a short circuit in an air conditioner.

Based on the information, received through various agencies, five tenders have rushed to the spot and currently dousing the fire. No injury has been reported as of yet not any casualty has been claimed till now. The situation is under control and the fire has been doused, till the report was filed. Earlier on Monday, a fire broke out in in a multi-storey building in Delhi's Zakir Nagar, killing six people and injuring 11 others.
