Delhi Gangrape Horror: 17-Year-Old Girl Raped, Stabbed to Death; Body Found Partly Eaten by Dogs
A 17-year-old girl was allegedly gangraped and stabbed to death by four persons, including three minors, in Delhi, police said. Her decomposed body was later found dumped in an open field, with some parts allegedly eaten by stray dogs.

New Delhi, September 18: A 17-year-old girl was allegedly gangraped and stabbed to death by four persons, including three minors, in Delhi, police said. Her decomposed body was later found dumped in an open field, with some parts allegedly eaten by stray dogs.
The horrifying case came to light on September 13 when police recovered the girl's body near Jaipal Rana's field on Kushak Road in Central Delhi. Police said the body had decomposed so severely that its gender could not initially be determined. One hand was also found separated from the body, while some parts had allegedly been eaten by stray dogs.
According to police, the victim knew the accused persons and had been travelling with them in a tempo. The group allegedly consumed alcohol inside the vehicle before the girl was gangraped and later stabbed to death. Her body was then allegedly dumped in the open field. Police said the girl had not been reported missing by her family. Her relatives told investigators that she would often leave home and return after a few days.
CCTV Footage Helps Police Trace Tempo
A case was registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Protection of Children from S*xual Offences (POCSO) Act. With no apparent eyewitness and the identity of the accused initially unknown, police teams examined footage from more than 50 CCTV cameras installed in the area and along adjoining routes. During the investigation, officers noticed a tempo moving near the crime scene around the relevant period. Its registration number could not be clearly seen because of poor visibility and darkness. Investigators subsequently tracked the vehicle's movements across multiple CCTV locations.
A night-long search operation conducted during the intervening night of September 15 and 16 led police to the suspected tempo. Its driver was identified and questioned, following which the investigation led to the apprehension of four persons.
Adult Accused, Three Juveniles Apprehended
Police identified the adult accused as Shivam alias Sudama alias Chuchu, a resident of Khadda Colony. The other three accused are juveniles aged 16 and 17, police said.
Two knives allegedly used in the crime, clothes allegedly worn by the accused and the tempo were recovered during the investigation.
Police said further investigation is underway to establish the sequence of events, determine the individual roles of the accused and verify the forensic and technical evidence collected in the case.
