New Delhi, November 25: Special Cell of Delhi police yesterday arrested three terrorists belonging to Islamic State Jammu and Kashmir (ISJK) terror group from Srinagar. Arms and ammunition along with explosives were also recovered from them. Security has been tightened in Delhi and its surrounding since the last two weeks after intelligence agencies alerted police about five to six terrorists planning to move towards the national capital to conduct a major attack.

Another alert was issued on November 13. The Intelligence Bureau on circulated a letter asking the security agencies to be on a high alert in the national capital. In the letter, it is mentioned that as per the message circulated by a Pakistan National Ameer Hamza in the whats app group, the terror organisation Jaish e Mohammed (JeM) is planning to carry out terrorist attacks on security establishments in Delhi to avenge the killing of Usman alias Huzaifa during the Tral encounter in the Kashmir Valley on October 30. Central Industrial Security Force, Delhi Police, National Security Guards, and Railway Protection Force were alerted in the wake of possible attacks.

Earlier this month, former Hizbul Mujahideen commander and founder and chief of Al-Qaeda cell Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind Zakir Moosa was spotted in Amritsar. The state police released posters of the terrorists to gather information about his whereabouts.
