A property dealer was shot dead outside a gym in north Delhi’s Narela area on Thursday morning after two unidentified assailants on a motorcycle opened fire at him, police said. Attack Outside Gym
The incident took place at around 7 am, when the victim was outside the gym in Narela. According to police, the assailants approached on a motorcycle and opened fire before escaping. The Times of India reported that 16 rounds were fired during the attack. The victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds and died following the shooting. Victim Identified as Pramod Dahiya
The deceased has been identified as Pramod Dahiya, a property dealer and resident of Haryana's Sonipat district, according to reports. Police are investigating the victim's background and recent activities to determine whether the killing was linked to a business dispute, personal rivalry or another motive.
Extortion Angle Under Probe
A preliminary investigation suggests that an extortion-related motive may be behind the killing, India Today reported. However, police have not yet established the motive conclusively, and investigators are examining different possibilities.
