Delhi Stabbing: Woman Killed, Husband Injured in Attack After Motorcycle Parking Row
A 32-year-old woman was killed and her husband seriously injured after a dispute over motorcycle parking escalated into a stabbing in Delhi's Bindapur area. Police said the incident was reported on Saturday, and the victims were taken to hospital, where Aarti was declared dead. One accused has been detained, while police are searching for a juvenile allegedly involved in the attack.
A 32-year-old woman was stabbed to death and her husband was seriously injured following an altercation over motorcycle parking in southwest Delhi's Bindapur, police said on Saturday, June 20. The accused include a 40-year-old man and a juvenile from the same locality, authorities said.
The incident was reported to Bindapur Police Station at 2.50 pm. The caller informed the police that "two-three boys" had stabbed his daughter and son-in-law in the stomach. By the time officers reached the spot, both victims had already been taken to a hospital for treatment.

Police said the injured couple was taken to Deen Dayal Upadhyay (DDU) Hospital following the attack. At the hospital, doctors declared Aarti brought dead, the police said. Her husband, Vicky, who also sustained stab injuries, was later referred to Safdarjung Hospital for advanced treatment. His condition was reported to be serious.
During a preliminary inquiry, investigators found that the couple had allegedly been involved in a dispute with neighbours over the parking of a motorcycle on the road. According to police, the argument escalated into a violent confrontation, during which Aarti and Vicky were stabbed with a knife.
Authorities are continuing their investigation to establish the sequence of events and gather further evidence related to the case.
Police identified the attackers as 40-year-old Pappu and a juvenile, both residents of the same locality. Pappu has been detained, while efforts are underway to trace the minor. Further legal proceedings will be initiated based on the findings of the ongoing investigation, police said.
