The deceased was identified as Dr Shivam Kartikeya, who lived in the Raj Nagar Extension area of Ghaziabad. His family had reportedly approached police after he went missing on September 29.

According to the initial information, police received a call about a Brezza car that had been stationary on the Eastern Peripheral Expressway. When officers reached the spot and checked the vehicle, they found the doctor dead inside.
Police recovered several injections and medicines from the car. Investigators are examining whether an overdose could have played a role in the death.
