Greater Noida Tragedy: 2 Labourers Die After Falling From 14th Floor of Golf Homes Society
Two labourers died after falling from the 14th floor of a residential building in Greater Noida. Officials said the incident took place at Golf Homes Society within the Bisrakh police station limits. Two labourers died on Saturday, August 22, after falling from the 14th floor of a residential building in Greater Noida. The incident occured while the two were carrying out construction work. Officials said the incident took place at Golf Homes Society within the Bisrakh police station limits.

The deceased labourers were identified as Sarkar (19) and Jamal Sheikh (45), both residents of West Bengal, reports PTI. Police said that the two labourers sustained injuries after they fell from the 14th floor. Soon after the two labourers fell, they were rushed to a hospital, where doctors declared them brought dead. After the incident, the Bisrakh police took the contractor into custody and registered a case. Cops said they are initiating the necessary legal action.
In a separate incident, a private company's bus carrying around 28 to 30 employees overturned in the Dadri area in Noida on Saturday, leaving 14 people injured. Police said that the bus was travelling from the Eastern Peripheral Expressway towards Dadri when the driver, while trying to avoid a vehicle ahead, over-steered, causing the bus to overturn.
