Ahmedabad, Sep 13: Hounded by 'dark forces', a financially sound businessman allegedly committed suicide in a posh neighbourhood of Gujarat's Ahmedabad on Wednesday. His wife and 16-year-old daughter were also found dead inside the house. The man, identified as 45-year-old Kunal Trivedi, blamed 'dark forces' in his suicide note for taking the extreme step.

On Wednesday, Trivedi was found hanging from the ceiling. The police also recovered the body of his wife Kavita and daughter Shreen from one of the bedrooms of their house. Trivedi’s mother Jayshreeben, 75, was also found unconscious in the house when police broke open the door of their flat. Trivedi's relatives called the police after their repeated calls to the Trivedi went unanswered. Uttar Pradesh: Engineering Students Tricked Into Escort Services After Being Hired For Tuition.

The police recovered a three-page suicide note addressing his mother in which Trivedi claimed he used to see 'dark forces' but no one believed. “Everyone called me alcoholic ... I never drank out of my will … the dark forces took advantage of my weakness ... but mother you did not understand me," Trivedi had written, according to the police. Mahadalit Man Buries Wife's Body in House After Neighbours Deny Land For Cremation in Bihar.

"If you would have understood on the very first day then my life would have been different today … word suicide was never found in my dictionary … many times I told you about dark forces … but you did not believe me,” he stated. According to Naroda police inspector and investigating officer HB Vaghela, Trivedi also said the family wasn’t in any debt or facing any financial issues.

“The bodies have been sent for post-mortem. And we are also waiting for the forensic science laboratory reports to reach any conclusion,” Vaghela told Hindustan Times. Trivedi's mother is admitted to a hospital in critical condition. A case of accidental deaths has been registered.
