Srinagar, September 14: The Indian Army killed two Pakistani soldiers along the Line of Control (LoC) in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir’s (PoK) Hajipur sector in retaliation to ceasefire violation by the neighbouring country on September 10 and 11. India’s retaliation forced Pakistan to raise the white flag to recover the bodies of the deceased soldiers. The video of the Pakistan Army personnel raising the white flag was shared by the news agency ANI. It the video it could be seen that three Pakistan Army personnel with one of them carrying the white flag retrieved the body of their men. According to reports, initially, Pakistani soldiers tried to recover the body of Rasool by intensifying ceasefire violation. While attempting to recover Rasool’s body, another Pakistani Army soldier was also killed. As per Army sources, the Pakistan Army could not recover the body of its soldiers despite repeated attempts and then they finally raised the white flag.

Last month, the Indian Army also killed five to seven members of the Pakistan Army’s Border Action Team in Keran sector of Jammu and Kashmir. Tensions between India and Pakistan have increased after the Narendra Modi government scrapped the special status of Jammu and Kashmir by diluting the Article 370. After the Modi government’s move, Pakistan downgraded bilateral relations with India. Ceasefire incidents by Pakistani Army have also increased after the special status of J&K was scrapped.
