A shocking alleged scam has surfaced in Kolkata, where a man was reportedly lured through the dating app Bumble and extorted at a cafe in the Tollygunge area. According to the account, the victim matched with a woman identifying herself as “Sushmita” on Bumble. After chatting, she invited him to meet near Ranikuthi. Upon arrival, she allegedly took him to a place called “Cafe Couple Zone,” located inside a government housing complex at 131/43 NSC Bose Road in Tollygunge.

Once inside, the woman reportedly took charge of ordering, requesting hookah and coffee. Sensing something was wrong, the man decided to leave. However, he was then presented with an inflated bill of around INR 11,000 for just two coffees and a hookah.
