A 10-year-old boy was seriously injured after a 22-year-old man allegedly picked him up and “choke slammed” him onto a concrete lane in Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow. The incident occurred on February 20 in the Wazirganj area but came to light days later after CCTV video surfaced and the child’s condition worsened, prompting police action.

The victim, identified as Abdul Nasir, had reportedly gone to a nearby mosque and was playing cricket with friends after prayers when the accused, Fahad alias Prince, allegedly attacked him. According to the family, the accused grabbed the child by the neck and legs, lifted him above his head, and slammed him onto the ground. The impact left the boy unconscious, as seen in the CCTV footage now circulating online. The visuals show the accused using significant force, raising concerns about the severity of the injuries sustained by the child.

Following the incident, the boy was initially taken to a local facility before being shifted to hospitals in Hussainganj and later Indira Nagar for further evaluation.
