Madurai: Petrol Bomb Attack Backfires as Accused Catches Fire
A 23-year-old man was arrested late Thursday night after allegedly hurling a petrol bomb at a house in Sholavandan, near Madurai, in an incident that resulted in the attacker accidentally setting himself on fire. The suspect, identified as Nagarjun, suffered burn injuries during the assault before fleeing the scene, according to local police authorities.

According to police, Nagarjun allegedly hurled the petrol bomb at the house late at night. The device landed near the front of the residence, causing flames to break out. During the attack, the fire also caught the accused, leaving him with burn injuries. Despite being injured, he reportedly fled the spot. Police Arrest Accused
