The incident came to light when local resident Sunny Kamble was alerted that a snake had slithered into the engine of his sister's car, which was parked on the premises of the building, Mid Day reported. According to the information available, residents noticed the python entering the vehicle and alerted Kamble. The car was parked within the residential complex near the service road leading from the Dahisar flyover. With the snake inside the engine compartment, residents avoided attempting to remove it themselves and instead called a trained local rescuer.
Snake rescuer Sameer Gupta arrived at the location after receiving the call. Gupta managed to locate and remove the python from the vehicle safely. The reptile was rescued without causing harm to the snake or residents present at the scene.
