New Delhi, July 29: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will appear on the Man vs Wild television show on August 12 along with host Bear Grylls. For the first time, the Prime Minister will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar in the wilderness of the dense forests in Uttarakhand. The show will be aired on Discovery Channel India on August 12 at 9 pm. The host of the show, Bear Grylls took to Twitter to announce that people across 180 countries will get to see the unseen side of PM Modi. In a short video of the show that was shared by Grylls on his Twitter account, PM Modi is seen rowing a boat and taking an an adventurous ride in a river along with the adventure travel show host. "People across 180 countries will get to see the unknown side of PM Narendra Modi as he ventures into Indian wilderness to create awareness about animal conservation & environmental change. Catch Man Vs Wild with PM Modi @DiscoveryIN on August 12 @ 9 pm", Grylls tweeted.

Reports inform that the show has been shot as a means to promote awareness on animal conservation and environmental change. The  announcement of the Prime Minister's episode comes on the occasion of International Tigers Day, celebrated each year on July 29.
