New Delhi, July 12: India's first air-conditioned Bed Space Dormitory- Peter’s Inn, was thrown open for public at MG Road Metro Station in Kochi on Thursday. According to a tweet by ANI, the dormitory has 200-bed cabins with 40 toilets. The Bed Space Dormitory has been designed like an AC train compartment coach. Reports inform that the check-in time of the dormitory is 7 pm and check out at 8 am and customers can also avail the facility for a day stay.

Peter’s Inn, the first-bed space dormitory was inaugurated jointly by Kochi Mayor Soumini Jain along with MLAs S Sharma, P T Thomas, V D Satheeshan and KMRL MD APM Mohammed Hanish IAS in Kochi.  Reports inform that Peter’s Inn will be exclusively run and managed by Anna Maria Agencies. Each bed will provide sufficient privacy with reading light and phone charging point.

According to media reports, the daily rent for the bed space is Rs 395 with luxury facilities available for desiring customers. As per details available, the Dormitory comes with a separate facility for ladies with closed rooms where every bed space will also have a locker facility to keep their valuable belongings.

Francis Mukkanikal, Managing Director of Peter's Inn was quoted in reports saying that Peter's Inn dormitory at M.G.Road Metro Station will be maintained professionally and ensure cleanliness and comfort for all the customers who avail this facility.
