Petrol and diesel prices on Saturday surged for the third consecutive day. The fuel prices in India including metro cities New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai has seen constant growth. Petrol prices in Mumbai on February 16, 2019, went up by 13 paise to Rs 76.23 per litre, while petrol prices in Delhi jumped by 14 paise to Rs 70.60. Petrol prices in Chennai and Kolkata were hiked by 14 paise to Rs 73.28 per litre and Rs 72.71 per litre on Saturday respectively. In Delhi, the price of diesel today was at Rs 65.86 per litre, up by 13 paise. In Mumbai, the price of diesel on Saturday was Rs 69.97 per litre. The diesel prices in Kolkata and Chennai was also soared by 13 paise to Rs 67.64 and Rs 69.57 per litre, respectively.
