Rae Bareli, December 16: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday flagged off the 900th coach and a Humsafar Rake of Modern Coach factory in Rae Bareli. He also hit at the Congress-led UPA government for delaying the development work and stated that this factory is proof to exploitation the of nation’s resources done during the previous government.

Addressing the people, he said, “This factory was sanctioned in 2007 and was built in 2010. For 4 years parts of the coach from Kapurthala were assembled and painted here. The factory that was supposed to make new coaches was never allowed to work at its full capacity.” National Security Is a Punching Bag and Funding Source for Congress, Says Narendra Modi.

He was of the opinion that the former Congress government failed to give employment to the people. The Premier said, “When the previous government decided to construct this factory it was decided that 5000 employees will be hired. But only half of these recruitments were approved. Not just that, in 2014 we noticed that no new recruitment was done in this factory.”

Adding more, he said, “If the capacity of Modern Coach Factory is increased it will give employment to the youth. Think of the time when 10-12 coaches will be made here in a day. The expansion of this factory will bring employment for engineers and technicians.” PM Modi said, “The Modern Coach Factory is proof to exploitation the of nation’s resources done during the previous government. We changed this situation after we came to power.”

The Prime Minister claimed that the Rae Bareli coach manufacturing factory would very soon become the world’s biggest manufacturing factory. Earlier, he also inspected the factory.
