The deceased was identified as Salma Salauddin Pathan. According to a PTI report, she was standing in a crowd when a heavy section of the iron frame suddenly fell on her.

Woman Dies After Iron Frame Collapses
Police said workers were dismantling the temporary structure after the Dahi Handi event organised by the Vighnaharta Mandal had concluded.
Pathan suffered severe head injuries after the structure fell on her. She was rushed to a hospital for treatment, but doctors declared her dead.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collapse and the safety measures followed while the temporary structure was being dismantled.

7-Year-Old Boy Dies In Mumbai
In a separate incident, a seven-year-old boy died after a brick column collapsed on him during a Dahi Handi celebration in Mumbai's Malvani area on Saturday, officials said.
The incident took place at Ekta Welfare Society in Chikuwadi, Malad West, where a group of children had organised and participated in a Dahi Handi celebration.
Officials said the rope holding the Dahi Handi had been tied to a tree on one side and to a brick column supporting a ground-floor structure on the other.
As the children attempted to break the handi, the brick column suddenly gave way and collapsed, hitting the boy on the head.
The child, identified as Rudra Kadam, suffered serious head injuries and was taken to Malvani General Hospital. However, doctors declared him brought dead.
Police are looking into both incidents.
