Dr Pragya Tomar, a gynaecologist at Spandan Hospital in Baraut, posted a video from her clinic showing a consultation with the young woman and her husband, who are originally from Rajasthan. During the interaction, the woman disclosed that she is five months pregnant with her sixth child despite being only 22 years old.
According to the woman, she was married at the age of 15 or 16 in what she described as a child marriage. When Dr Tomar asked the couple why they continued having children, the woman admitted that the repeated pregnancies were linked to the family's desire for a son. However, even after the birth of a son, the couple decided to expand their family further. The husband explained that one son was not enough and said they wanted at least two sons.
