Under directives issued by the President's Secretariat, public tours of Rashtrapati Bhavan, its associated museum, and Amrit Udyan remain suspended through September 13, reports Rashtrapati Bhavan. Additionally, the traditional Change of Guard Ceremony scheduled for Saturday at the Forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhavan has been called off. Complementing these measures, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has shut down its exhibition museum at the Supreme Court metro station for a three-day duration starting Friday.
Traffic Adjustments and Judicial Modifications
The capital's administrative machinery has also adjusted schedules to accommodate the multi-day international event. Central and Delhi government offices, alongside educational institutions, observed a scheduled holiday on Friday. The Delhi Traffic Police have coordinated operational schedule shifts for local courts and legal proceedings located near the summit area. A National Lok Adalat originally slated for September 12 has been postponed to October 10. Authorities have implemented traffic diversions across 22 major junctions and regulated vehicular flow on more than 35 arterial roads. Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Dinesh Kumar Gupta emphasised that comprehensive routing advisories remain accessible across official digital and print platforms. "We have 22 diversion points in place, under which we will divert the traffic from designated points," Gupta stated. "We have also briefed our staff to guide people, wherever needed, regarding the diverted routes."
