Jalandhar, June 29: In one of the major incident which could have turned tragic, a school bus carrying around 20 students fell off from PAP flyover on Jalandhar-Amritsar highway on Saturday morning. This incident took place after the driver lost its control due to steering wheel failure. Meanwhile, no casualties were reported but some students sustained some minor injuries. According to reports, the school bus was carrying twenty students of Stalwarts World School. The bus was on its way to Lovely Professional University. When the bus was passing over the PAP flyover, the driver lost it's control and fell down from flyover. After the accident, the police officials arrived at the spot and started an investigation.

Earlier this year, seven people, including six school children and bus driver, died after a private school bus rolled down a deep gorge in Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh. In the accident, 12 people were also injured. The bus was carrying students of DAV School.
