This isn't the first time the production of Gunmaaster G9 has encountered unforeseen hurdles. Earlier in June 2026, while shooting in the holy city of Haridwar, the cast and crew faced public uproar. Locals mistook a movie set prop, a signboard reading 'Bar and Café', for an actual establishment, disrupting the shoot. Producer Deepak Mukut addressed the situation, stating, "We go to shoot scenes with necessary props, at places without any intention of hurting anybody's feelings. We always respect the system and follow all the rules. After speaking to the local people, we sorted it out."
