According to people present at the spot, an office employee was cleaning the district president’s room when he noticed what appeared to be a long tail behind the AC. When the employee tried to move it with a stick, the movement startled the snake, which began emerging from behind the air conditioner. The snake had reportedly entered the building through a window before making its way towards the AC indoor unit. BJP district general secretary Vipul Pratap Singh informed the Forest Department and also recorded a video of the snake.

A Forest Department rescue team soon reached the BJP office and launched an operation to safely capture the cobra. The rescue reportedly continued for around three hours as the team carefully worked to remove the snake from the AC area. Eventually, the cobra was successfully rescued and taken away by the Forest Department team. Following the operation, people inside the BJP office heaved a sigh of relief. Fortunately, no injuries or other untoward incidents were reported during the snake rescue operation.
