According to railway officials, a representative from the decoration firm was permitted to board the train at Jalna station to complete the setup. The compartment was adorned with balloons, floral arrangements, fairy lights, and red rose petals arranged in heart shapes, with an "I Love You" sign fixed to the wall. "The decorator's entry into the coach at Jalna station was unauthorized and is viewed as a serious lapse," the South Central Railway stated in a formal post on X (formerly Twitter). In addition to the suspension of the on-duty Chief Ticket Inspector for failing to prevent the unauthorised entry, the department has confirmed that the decoration firm involved has been booked under the relevant provisions of the Railway Act for unauthorised entry into the train. "The concerned staff member has been placed under suspension, and a detailed departmental inquiry has been ordered. Appropriate action will be taken based on the inquiry findings," the SCR added.
