In a gruesome crime in Telangana's Ranga Reddy district, a 35-year-old man allegedly killed his wife and two young children before travelling to murder a teenage girl who had accused him of s*xual harassment, along with two members of her family.

The accused, identified as Rajkumar, first attacked his 30-year-old wife, Parvathi Saritha, and their two sons, aged 4 and 1, at their residence in Shabad on Friday night.

Attack On The Complainant's Family

Rajkumar then travelled to the house of a 17-year-old girl, who had filed a complaint against him under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act on May 16. He allegedly took her in a car to a deserted location and murdered her there.

He also killed her 45-year-old mother and 65-year-old maternal grandmother. The girl's 20-year-old sister, a person with disabilities, was present in the house at the time but was not harmed. Karnataka: Man Kills Wife With Helmet 4 Months After Marriage in Hubballi Following Domestic Dispute (Watch Video).

Accused Confessed To Father, Now On The Run

After the killings, Rajkumar reportedly called his father and admitted to the crime. Senior police officer Tarun Joshi said the accused told his father he had murdered the victims before switching off his phone. He also allegedly said he planned to die by suicide, though this has not been confirmed.

Joshi said the accused is currently on the run, with special police teams formed and active leads being pursued to apprehend him soon. Jaipur: Daughter Hires Contract Killers To Eliminate Mother for Government Job and Property; 7 Arrested.

Background Of The Case

Rajkumar and Parvathi had a love marriage in 2018 and lived in houses they owned in Shabad and Devalaguda. The couple had three children, though their first child, a daughter, died in infancy.

In May, Rajkumar was arrested after a case was filed against him for allegedly stalking and s*xually harassing the minor girl. According to Joshi, the accused had been following the girl from her coaching institute to her house and pressuring her to accept his proposal.

Following the case, Rajkumar went on the run before securing anticipatory bail, as the sections invoked carried a punishment of less than seven years. He was granted bail on a personal bond of Rs 20,000 about a week before the murders.

Police said Rajkumar had a history of behavioural issues. Officers said he had been called in for counselling two or three times, and family members stated his mental condition was unstable. He also reportedly had a gambling habit and had accumulated loans.

Scene Of The Crime

Relatives who reached the house said the children appeared to have been killed in their sleep, while signs of a violent struggle were visible in the room where Parvathi's body was found. They said the doors had been shut from inside, and the fan, air-conditioner, and cooler had all been left running.

Family members said there were no major disputes before the incident, and Parvathi had spoken normally with relatives the previous evening.

Forensic teams have examined the crime scenes, and investigators are working to piece together the sequence of events and verify the exact motive.
