Villupuram, July 3: For a quite few time, ByteDance's TikTok, the video-sharing app, has been in the news for all bad reasons. But, however, this time, it has helped a Tamil Nadu woman to reunite with her missing husband. The app helped her to identify husband who had reportedly fled from home three years back. According to a report in The New Indian Express, Suresh had left his wife and two children in 2016 and never returned. Jayapradha looked for her husband at different locations and filed an FIR with the local police. However, her efforts went in vain as Suresh was untraceable. Three years later, a relative spotted a video on TikTok showcasing a person similar to Suresh. Upon enquiring, it was confirmed that it was Suresh.  Tik Tok Ban Lifted in India! The matter was immediately taken to the police and he was traced down to Hosur, said a report in The New Indian Express. According to police, Suresh had left them as he was angry with some household issues. Suresh moved to Hosur and started working as a mechanic at a tractor company.

Meanwhile, it came to know that he was in a relationship with a transwoman. In fact, the trans woman helped the cops to trace him. The trans woman was also spotted in the TikTok Video. “The trans woman was also in the video, and we traced them down with the help of the transgender association in Villupuram,” an officer said.
