Mumbai, May 20: At least two people were killed and 20 passengers sustained injuries after two buses collided on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway on Monday morning. The accident took place near Madap tunnel on the Pune bound corridor of the Mumbai-Pune Expressway between 7:45 am and 8 am.

The mishap occurred when a minibus crashed into a stationary luxury bus. The deceased were identified as Shekhar Kamble, bus driver, and Joseph Sereja, a resident of Vasai. 20 passengers were also injured in the accident. The minibus was on its way to Mahabaleshwar. The police and emergency services were at the spot and carrying out the rescue and relief work.
