Uttarakhand BJP Worker Beaten Up By Wife Of IPS Officer For Sending Obscene Messages

Rudrapur, October 7: A Wife of an IPS officer beat up a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Rudrapur district of Uttarakhand for allegedly sending her obscene messages. A video of the incident is doing rounds on social media. According to a report published in Hindustan Times, the BJP worker lives with his family in Metropolise resident welfare society in Sitarganj. The victim narrated her trauma to the president of the society, and then they both went to the BJP worker’s flat.

The BJP worker instead of realising his fault he started misbehaving with them. Due to this, the woman got angry and started beating him with her slipper. According to the reports, the police reached the spot, but no case was registered as the ruling party worker apologised to the wife of the IPS officer, after which she forgave him. The woman’s husband is posted in Uttar Pradesh. He told Hindustan Times, “The incident has maligned the image of the party. The party must see into the incident and take proper action.” Meanwhile, BJP US Nagar district unit president Shiv Arora said assured that party would take proper action against the party worker.
