Uttarakhand Police Arrested Four People for Allegedly Raping a Minor Girl in Sahaspur

Dehradun, November 19: In another episode of sexual assault against minors, a girl was allegedly gang-raped by four people in Uttarakhand's Sahaspur, police said on Monday. According to the police report, one of the accused became friend with the minor girl and raped her along with his three friends. The police have arrested all the four accused and taken them into custody.

Dehradun Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Nivedita Kukreti while speaking to news Agency ANI said, "The victim said that the one of the accused befriended and raped her along with his friends. Earlier in a similar incident from Uttarakhand, a class 10 girl was allegedly raped by four of her classmates, the incident took place on August 14, while the Uttarakhand police arrested the four accused and five school staffer on September 18 after the school staff tried to terminate the pregnancy. The crime came to light when the girl narrated the whole ordeal to her sister.
