Faridabad, June 27: With Congress workers protesting against the murder of their leaders Vikas Chaudhary by unidentified men outside a gym in Faridabad, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday accused Chaudhary of a person with bad character and opined that any anything could be possible with such a person due to personal enmity. However, he assured the media that culprits won't be spared.

Speaking to the media on action taken by police he said, as quoted by ANI, "He (Chaudhary) had 13 FIRs against him, & he had been declared a bad character, anything could be possible with such a person, it could be personal enmity. Police teams have been formed, culprits won't be spared." Ram Rahim to be Granted Parole? Decision Yet to be Taken, Says Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar

Khattar visited Faridabad days after Chaudhary was shot dead by unidentified assailants outside a gym he used to frequent in Sector 9. The Congress leader suffered at least 10 gunshot wounds in the chest, arm and neck, and was rushed to Sarvodaya Hospital in Sector 8, where he was declared dead on arrival.

Informing the media about the delay in handling the body of Chaudhary to his kin, Faridabad DCP Vikram Kapoor had said, "There are certain formalities that are yet to be completed. Once CMO completes the formalities Vikas Choudhary's body will be handed over. The delay in releasing the body has no relation to CM's visit to the area."

The DCP has earlier informed that they have constituted five teams to probe the case and have received some leads in the case. He had said, "Probe suggests that the accused men had done a reconnaissance of the area and were aware of Chaudhary’s gym timings." Police even suspect that Chaudhary's killing could be connected to his alleged criminal past. Till the report was filed, no arrests have been made so far.
