New Delhi, December 14: Hours after the Supreme Court verdict on the Rafale Deal, quashing all the petitions filed by the opposition, BJP president Amit Shah on Friday sought Rahul Gandhi’s source of information. Hailing the SC decision, Shah asked the Congress chief why their government could not sign the deal between 2007-14.

Hitting out at Opposition, Shah asked the source of information from Rahul Gandhi for ‘misleading’ the country with misinformation. He said, “People were being misled by unfortunately the country's oldest party. Its a slap on politics of lies. Rahul Gandhi ji should apologise to the nation for misleading people. Also, he asked the Congress chief why there was a delay from 2007-14 to sign the deal in the previous UPA government. Shah said, “Why the Congress did not sign the (Rafale) deal from 2007 and 2014?”

Also, Shah was of the opinion that Congress party tried to demoralise the moral of Armymen and disseminated wrong information about the Rafale Deal. Stating the BJP is ready for Joint Parliamentary Probe (JPC), provided Congress is ready for a discussion on the issue in the parliament. Shah said that BJP invites all the parties to discuss on Rafale Deal, but would not accept any allegations based on false charges. He stated Gandhi and his team should present the data.
