Incident Took Place At Qalandiya Refugee Camp
The incident took place in the Qalandiya refugee camp on Sunday and is being "viewed seriously" by police, who announced that the officer would be suspended and a disciplinary decision would follow after a full investigation, according to a report by The Times of Israel.
Footage Shows Officer Blocking Car Door Before Blast
In the footage, obtained by nearby security cameras, the officer can be seen in the doorway of the car, in an apparent disagreement with the driver. The officer then takes a stun grenade from his belt, pulls its pin, and tosses it into the car while shutting the door and stopping the driver from getting out. Another officer is visible on the other side of the vehicle, seemingly also blocking the passenger door from being opened. Passengers Flee As Smoke Fills Car, Officer Opens Fire
While the driver and passengers were still inside, the flashbang burst in the front seat, sending smoke spilling out through the door's crack. Two passengers in the back seat quickly opened the door and escaped as smoke billowed out. Meanwhile, the officer blocked the door next to the driver, leaning against it to prevent him from getting out. Driver Reported Unharmed Despite Being Trapped Inside
Despite being stopped from getting out of the car, the driver appeared to be unharmed, according to the Ynet news site.

Case Referred For Internal Investigation
The matter has been forwarded to the Department of Internal Police Investigations for further inquiry. The officer has been suspended from duty, according to police.
