Confirming the details of the joint stage sharing by the political stalwarts – Narendra Modi, Nitish Kumar and Ram Vilas Paswan, state JD (U) president Bashistha Narayan Singh said, while addressing a joint press conference, as Hindustan Times quotes, “The NDA will highlight people-centric initiatives taken under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the country and chief minister Nitish Kumar in the state.” Narendra Modi Will Come Back As Prime Minister After Lok Sabha Elections 2019, Says Nitish Kumar.

Singh added that this rally in Bihar’s capital would be the mother of all rallies. He said, as the daily added, “It will be the mother of all rallies. We expect that the organisational strength of the three parties will be able to mobilise record public participation, which, we believe, will be facilitated by a favourable disposition towards the development work done by respective governments.”

Along with Singh, state unit chief of BJP and LJP - Nityanand Rai and Pashupati Kumar Paras – also briefed the media. Rai said that NDA would compare work done by Opposition parties for 55 years at the Centre and in the state. He said, “The idea is to put things in right perspective before people so that they may be able to weigh UPA’s misinformation campaign on the balance of developmental work done by the NDA.”

Adding more information, LJP’s Paras said, “It is essentially an election rally, and BJP president Amit Shah and other senior NDA leaders will be present. The ECI is likely to notify poll dates between March 6 and 10.”

BJP’s Rai even claimed that the NDA alliance would win 40 out of 40 seats in Bihar, leaving the opposition with zero seats. According to the NDA alliance, both JD(U) and BJP would contest on 17 seats each, while LJP would fight in the remaining six seats. Amit Shah, Nitish Kumar Seal Bihar Pact For 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, 'JD(U), BJP Will Fight on Equal Number of Seats'.
