Jaipur, September 5: The Indian National Congress (INC) has started its poll pitch in Rajasthan by announcing that youths from needy families will be  given an allowance of Rs 3,500 per month. Rajasthan PCC, the official Twitter handle of Rajasthan Congress, tweeted that the party is trying to get the provision of providing an allowance of Rs 3,500 to youths from needy families in the manifesto and that issues related to youth would be given priority by the state Congress.

Sachin Pilot, President of the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee, will be addressing a Jan Sankalp rally in Rajasthan's Pachpadra in a short while. Check pictures from the rally in the tweet below:

Rajasthan Congress chief Sachin Pilot had earlier accused the BJP-led state government of exploiting the people during its tenure and said that the ruling party will be pitted against them in the upcoming assembly elections.

Pilot was speaking at the culmination of the 'Tiranga Yatra' taken out on August 10 by Congress Sewa Dal to commemorate the 'August Kranti Diwas' (Quit India Movement) launched in 1942.

Pilot said Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje is undertaking a pre-poll tour 'Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra', but the people have already rejected her, adding that the BJP will not get the mandate in the state this time. He exuded confidence that the Congress will emerge victorious and form the government in Rajasthan.

The 'Tiranga Yatra' was flagged off from Albert Hall by AICC general secretary and party affairs for Rajasthan Avinash Pande and Pilot. It culminated at Shahid Smarak at MI road. Hundreds of party workers participated in the march.
