Lok Sabha Elections 2019: The results of polls in the Rohtak Lok Sabha Constituency were declared today. The counting of votes began on the Parliamentary seat in Haryana at 8 am on Thursday, May 23. Arvind Kumar Sharma of the BJP won the seat. Voting took place for the Rohtak seat in the sixth phase of Lok Sabha Elections 2019 on May 12.

The political parties have fielded candidates from the Rohtak seat for Lok Sabha Elections 2019. These include Arvind Kumar Sharma of the BJP, Deepender Singh Hooda of the Congress and Dharamvir of the INLD among others. The last date for filing nomination from the Rohtak seat was April 23. The last date for withdrawal of candidature was April 26. The Lok Sabha Election 2014 from the Rohtak seat was won by Haryana former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda's son Deepinder Singh Hooda. Hooda has been a 3-time MP from this seat. In the 2014 polls, Hooda had defeated Om Prakash Dhankar of the BJP.

The Lok Sabha Elections 2019 will take place across India between April 11 and May 23. While voting will take place for 543 Lok Sabha seats in seven phases between April 11 and May 19, the counting of votes will take place on May 23.
