Mumbai, November 24: The Shiv Sena-Nationalist Congress Party-Congress combine together has the support of 164 MLAs, Sanjay Raut said on Sunday. Addressing a press conference, Sanjay Raut claimed that the Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress alliance can prove majority in Maharashtra assembly. Asserting that the BJP government, led by Devendra Fadnavis will fall, the Shiv Sena lawmaker said that NCP leader Ajit Pawar took a wrong step by going with the saffron party. In a stunning political development, Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari on Saturday morning administered the oath of office to Fadnavis as the new Chief Minister of Maharashtra and NCP leader Ajit Pawar as his deputy. NCP leader Nawab Malik said that his party had taken signatures from MLAs for attendance which were later misused. "We had taken signatures from MLAs for attendance, it was misused as a basis for the oath," Malik told reporters.
