Results for the Sivaganga Lok Sabha Constituency in Tamil Nadu has been declared by the Election Commission of India (ECI). Karti P Chidambaram of the Congress party has won the seat.  Counting of votes for this  constituency began at 8 AM on Thursday, May 23. Polling in this constitency was held on April 18. The constituency number of Sivaganga is 31 and is not reserved for any category. This constituency consists of 1,092,438 number of electorates in totality, of these 534,518 are males and 557,920 are females as the Election commission of India 2009 data. In the last assembly elections which were held in 2014, Senthilnathan PR of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam won the Lok Sabha election defeating Dhurai Raaj Subha of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam by a margin of 229385 votes. Raja H of Bharatiya Janata Party came third with 133763 votes.
