The results for the Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections 2019 will be announced today. The counting of votes for the 175 constituencies in Andhra Pradesh Assembly began at 8 am and the final list of winners is expected to be out by the end of the day on Thursday. Voting for Srisailam, Srungavarapukota, Sullurpeta, Tadepalligudem, Tadikonda  Vidhan Sabha seats took place on April 11 in Phase 1. In Andhra Pradesh, the ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is facing stiff competition from the YSR Congress Party.

In the Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections 2014, Budda Raja Sekhara Reddy of the YSRCP had won the election from Srisailam seat. He will be contesting the election this year as well, but on a TDP ticket. The other candidates on this seat for the 2019 polls are Nayab Syed Thaslima of the Congress, Silpa Chakrapani Reddy of the YSRCP and Budda Srikanth Reddy of the BJP among others.

The Srungavarapukota seat was won in 2014 AP Assembly Polls by Kolla Lalitha Kumari of the TDP, who will be fighting the election this year as well. The other candidates for the 2019 polls on this seat are Bogi Ramana of the Congress, CP Prasad of the BJP and Kadubandi Srinivasa Rao of the YSRCP.

The Sullurpeta seat was won in 2014 by Sanjeevaiah Kiliveti of the YSRCP, who will be fighting polls in 2019 as well. The other candidates for 2019 are Dr Parasa Venkata Rathnaiah of the TDP, Dasari Ratnam of the BJP and Chandanamudi Pedda Eswaraiah of the Congress.

The Tadepalligudem seat was won in 2014 by Pydikondala Manikyalarao of the BJP. The candidates for 2019 Assembly poll on this seat are Gattim Manikyalarao of the BJP, Marneedi Sekhar of the Congress, Kottu Satyanarayana of the YSRCP and Eli Venkata Madhusudhanarao of TDP among others.

The Tadikonda seat was won in 2014 by Tenali Sravana Kumar of the TDP, who will be fighting in 2019 as well. The other candidates this election are Vundavalli Sridevi of the YSRCP, Chilaka Vijay Kumar of the Congress and Ananda Babu Srungarapati of the BJP.

Along with Andhra Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Polls, voting will also be held for Lok Sabha Elections 2019 in the state on April 11. The counting of votes will be held on May 23.
