New Delhi, February 1: Finance Minister Piyush Goyal presented the interim budget 2019, which is being hailed as a "masterstroke" by the government and as "election sop" by the Opposition. However, one thing that stood out in Piyush Goyal's speech was him mentioning the word 'Josh' and film 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' more than once in his speech. 'How's The Josh?' After PM Modi, 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' Fever Grips Goa CM Manohar Parrikar And Nirmala Sitharaman: Watch Videos.

Goyal, while presenting his speech said that, “Mere ko toh Uri picture dekhne ka swabhagya mila, jo mazaa aya, jo josh tha (I am lucky to have had the opportunity to watch the film Uri, I really enjoyed it and there was great enthusiasm while watching the film).

“After watching Uri, entertainment should be made more available for cinema goers,” said the minister at another moment during his speech.

Before ending his speech, in another reference to the film, the minister said that “Yeh jo desh badal raha hai, desh wasiyon ke josh se badal raha hai.” (The country is changing due to the enthusiasm of the people of the country.)

This is not the first time that a BJP leader has raised "How's the Josh?" slogan from the movie Uri. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 19, quoted a dialogue of Vicky Kaushal starrer film Uri: The Surgical Strike at the inaugural event of the National Museum of Indian Cinema in Mumbai. Speaking at the event, PM Modi asked the audience in Uri: The Surgical Strike style: "How's the josh?" In the viral video of the incident, members of the film fraternity can be heard saying, "High sir." 'How’s The Josh?' After Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar and defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman also invoked the famous line from the recently released film 'Uri: The Surgical Strike', "How is the josh?," at different events on Sunday. Parrikar asked, "How's the Josh?" at the inauguration function of the new Mandovi bridge "Atal Setu" in Panaji.

Meanwhile, Sitharaman invoked the popular dialogue after watching the Vicky Kaushal starrer movie with ex-servicemen in Bengaluru. However, the Congress on January 31, 2019, trolled the BJP after a report on unemployment said that  unemployment in India is at its highest in the past 45 years and used the hashtag "Howsthejobs" to hit back at the BJP government.
