New Delhi, September 27: AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi is back in the news for another controversial statement, according to his opinion Triple Talaq ordinance should be challenged in Court because it's a fraud. As quoted in an ANI report, he said, "In the first page of the ordinance, the government says that Supreme Court has termed it unconstitutional but Supreme Court didn't say any such thing rather it had just set it aside.

Just moments after the 5-judge bench of Supreme Court declared the adultery law as unconstitutional. Asaduddin Owaisi politicised the verdict and asked the Modi government for the reversal of the triple talaq ordinance. Owaisi said, “First they decriminalise Section 377, then now Section 497, but why not triple talaq.” Asaduddin Owaisi on Death Penalty For Rapes: 'Govt Being Reactionary...Will Join League of Saudi Arabia, Iran & China'
