Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is Bollywood’s fashion icon and she rarely goes wrong with her outfit. She is one of the most celebrated women within and outside the industry. From her good old days from being a Miss World till today, the actress’ beauty is truly unmatched. Aish is a red carpet queen as we have seen her experimenting with various looks at Cannes Film Festival. But she looks equally splendid in a traditional saree or in anarkali. Today, the actress was spotted at the 31^st Women Entrepreneur’s Exhibition held at Mumbai where she was the chief guest. She was joined by her mother Brindya Rai, Shabana Azmi and singer Sonu Nigam. Aishwarya has always been supportive of women empowerment and says it is vital to promote economic empowerment of women. In an official statement, the actress was quoted saying: “Economic empowerment of women is a national agenda, and by supporting this exhibition, I have the honour in supporting the economic empowerment of our women.” She further added: “For more than thirty years, the Women Entrepreneurs’ Exhibition has positioned itself as a prime destination for fresh, new talented entrepreneurs who need a platform to launch themselves.”

For the event, Aish was spotted donning a red and black floor-length anarkali suit with floral detailing at the bottom. Keeping her overall makeup neutral glam, the actress opted for a winged liner and she let her lips do the talking by sporting bold red lips which complemented her burgundy red hair. She was also seen posing with her mother.

The event will be held over two days, September 5 and 6 at NSCI, Mumbai. Featuring 240 participants that includes 15 NGOs, the event includes displays of fine jewellery, fashion, lifestyle and gourmet foods, making it a delight for all kind of shoppers. The inaugural event also witnessed Minister of Textiles Smriti Irani, actor Ronit Roy and singer Sonu Nigam.

On the work front, Aishwarya was last seen in Fanney Khan along with Anil Kapoor. However, the film failed at the box office.
