These tinsel town actresses erred in their black carpet offerings in a sartorial bid to bring in the seasonal vogues, red carpet drama and beauty trends all at once. While black and glitter dominated, some ventured down the experimental path, conspired with their fashion stylists to bring in a style game that failed to evoke a wow. While the pressure to look good is always enormous for the celebrities, these ladies showed confidence and owned the moment but left nothing much to be desired for.
Here’s how the tinsel town divas failed in their style endeavors.
Styled by Pranita Shetty, Bhumi opted for a gold Gauri & Nainika creation. Nude makeup and a chic updo completed her vibe. While the gown with all its dramatic elements is fabulous, we believe that the gold colour doesn’t really pop out on Bhumi.
Kiara chose a black one-shoulder gown with a dramatic bow detailing and a thigh-high slit. Pulled back hair, a bold lip colour completed her look. Our major grouse in the look was the creasing in the lining of the gown that spoiled the overall vibe of the style.
Styled by Sukriti Grover, Kriti’s body hugging Yousef Al Jasmi white shimmery gown was accompanied by a bold lip colour and soft curls. A look that left us tad disappointed, we wished some drama for Kriti’s style instead of a Plain Jane vibe.
Sara Ali Khan
Sara opted for a printed short dress featuring drape detailing on either sides. Matching stilettos, textured waves and subtle makeup accompanied. A style that had nothing new to offer, Sara left us tad disappointed.
Daring and blazing impeccably is certainly not upto everyone’s alley, these not-so stylish offerings were a major downer at the star studded affair.
