Weekend Wows and Woes: Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Athiya Shetty, Karisma Kapoor Are Terrific, Huma Qureshi and Swara Bhaskar Are Terrible!

Our roving eye for all things fashionable in B-town never blinks. The weekend saw Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Swara Bhaskar and Huma Qureshi lend their star presence for the Isha Ambani organized - auction to help architect and interior designer Rooshad Shroff raise fund for a new girl’s school in Jaisalmer, India. While Sonam dominated with black, Swara and Huma’s ensembles left no impression. Meanwhile, Athiya Shetty took to a stunning Gaurav Gupta saree for her friend’s wedding festivities and Karisma Kapoor graced an event in Jaipur, bringing some shimmer and oodles of sass in tow.

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja

Styled by Rhea Kapoor, Sonam flaunted a fit and flare black ensemble from the FW 19/20 Couture Collection by Ashi Studio. Black stilettoes, a crisp bun, smokey eyes, nude lips completed her style.

Athiya Shetty

Styled by Ami Patel, Athiya sported a Gaurav Gupta soft violet saree with a heat pleated blouse featuring a tulle cape, sprinkled with shaded silk organza handmade flowers. Delicate baubles, glossy makeup and soft wavy hair rounded out her look.

Karisma Kapoor

Styled by Esha Amin, Karisma flaunted a Dhruv Kapoor ensemble with statement earrings, black boots and a small bag. Subtle makeup and pulled back hair completed her look.

Huma Qureshi

Styled by Kavita Lakhani, Huma flaunted a Masaba Gupta ensemble with heels from Ceriz. Statement earrings, pulled back and subtle makeup completed her look. The printed pantsuit with its statement sleeves failed to flatter Huma’s frame.

Swara Bhaskar

Swara sported a Rhea Pillai Rastogi jumpsuit featuring cuts on either side, statement earrings, a bun, and deeply lined eyes completed her look. The pleated jumpsuit failed to flatter Swara’s frame.
