In 2018, Lalbaugcha Raja completed its 84 years after being first unveiled in 1934 at Lalbaug Market. What started off as a small pandal, the Ganesh idol of the 'Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal' has become a major attraction with devotees travelling from different parts of the country and even from foreign shores to seek blessings from Ganpati Bappa. Yes, it will not be available on Sunday, Anant Chaturdashi. Nevertheless, you can touch the feet by taking the following route during Ganesh Visarjan - Dinshaw Petit Lane – G.D. Ambekar Marg. To reach here, one can come from Lower Parel Station on Western Line and Curry Road Station on Central Line. Lalbaugcha Raja 2018 Mukh Darshan will be available on Saturday 22nd September 2018, Midnight 12.00 am IST.

More information on Mukh Darshan of Lalbaugcha Raja is provided on the website. It states the line will take the following route - Chhatrapati Shivaji Ground (Garam Khada) – Dr B. A. Road – Dattaram Lad Marg – T.B. Kadam Marg – Add’l C.P. office – Dr B. A. Road – RANI BAUG on Central Line. To reach here, one can come from Chinchpokali or Byculla Station. Depending upon the queue, the Mukh Darshan is also possible from Cotton Green station on Harbour Railway.

Lalbaugcha Raja Visarjan procession will start at 10.30 am on 23rd September 2018. Live telecast of the procession will be available for all the devotees on Mandal’s authorised social media platforms.
